Central Music Festival returns to Red Deer August 15, with an expanded lineup of headliners and local talent. The family-oriented festival, which takes place in a natural outdoor amphitheatre just minutes north of the city on the C&E Trail, runs Friday, August 15 and Saturday August 16, rain or shine. Headliners include Ian Tyson, Doug Andrew and The Circus In Flames, Roy Forbes, Harrison "Sweet Taste" Kennedy, Junkhouse, Bobby Cameron, Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues, (featuring Carl Weathersby), joining local artists Ian Stewart and the Swanjacks, Jazz Explosion, St. James Gate and many more.
